On glibc systems, the <sys/unistd.h> header simply redirects to
<unistd.h>, while on musl systems this header doesn't exist. Therefore,
it makes more sense to include <unistd.h> directly.

Directory listing compares full paths case insensitive,
this causes toLower to run a lot.
While this could be avoided entirely, at least avoid resizing the vector while lower casing strings.
